A lovely long weekend has ended - it started with 41 points to win a club stableford and then had Sunday / Monday at East Sussex National.

Despite a lot of disappointed golfers on Sunday night watching the footie, two good days of golf were held.

East Sussex was pretty lush with some soft spots in places. Definitely needed to be the the right place on the greens as being faced with big swinging and accelerating downhill putts was a regular issue.

The only sour note (apart from the footie) was the loss of one of my few remaining TT logo’d pro V1’s - on its 52nd hole, it decided to visit a pond!
