When will the fittings be available for the new TSR drivers and fairways woods?

We are going through our tour validation process at the moment and we will be releasing the launch date as soon as that process has been completed.

I am as excited as you are to try out the new driver, so will definitely let you know when the new TSr comes into fitting centres.

Brilliant opportunity

Well, I took advantage of this great offer and had another great fitting with Graeme at the National Fitting Centre at Craigielaw.

Went for a double fitting for Driver/Woods and Wedges.

I will have a new wedge set up, but more importantly all gap distances is covered.

As for Driver, I was getting the best results with a Tsi2 driver in 11 degrees with the Tensei shaft in stiff. I currently have this in my current driver.

Where I’m excited about is the 7 wood which has filled a gap in distance. We tried a hybrid with the same loft but the ball flight was too low compared to the 7 wood which was so easy to hit.

Recently got fitted for a seven wood and bought for the same reason. So much easier to hit and so high and versatile as well

Interested to know also. I phoned up titleist yesterday and they said theres no reason why you shouldn't be able to and to just book a session for 'driver' or something and explain when you arrive that you want a putter fitting. I am tempted to do this but its a 3 hour drive for me so its a big risk if they aren't fitting putters.

They have putters in the fitting bay. When I got fitted for my T200 irons last year there was a fitting day the same day

Once again huge shout out to Doctor Titleist Graeme Noblett at Craigielaw fitting centre.

The last three years my golf has been awol to say the least, 6 handicap to 19 now
Dislocated right shoulder, Covid, double hernia operation, torn left rotator cuff, torn left bicep.
It also certainly didn’t help that I was a bad boy and bought new irons / wedges off the shelf during covid that weren’t custom fitted for me / my swing.

After warming up, he checks the spec of my irons I play with the now
2019 T100, kbs stiff tour shaft 90, 1” longer and 2 degs flatter.
10 shots 147 yards average, shot dispersion 168 ft. Couple big fat hooks and a couple of blocks.
He was shaking his head in disbelief

He than give me a 2021 T100 true temper amt tour white shaft s300 standard loft, lie and length.
10 shots hit, 3 mph club speed improvement 3 yards longer, dispersion down to 80ft

Next up was 2021 T100s, true temper amt tour white shaft s300 standard loft, lie and length.
10 shots hit, another 1 mph improvement, 3 yards longer, dispersion 74ft

He goes back to the magic box and makes up another club not telling me what this one was
2021 T200, true temper amt tour white shaft s300 standard loft, lie and length.
12 shots. Another 3 mph improvement on swing speed, again 8 yard’s longer, dispersion down to 38ft.

Still room for more improvement but certainly a massive step in the right direction for me.

Then we proceeded to carry out the same process with my off the shelf wedges.
Sm8 50m grind 12 bounce, standard shaft, 1” longer and 2 degs flatter.
I said to him watch out I can’t hit these, 3 shanks, 4 thins, 4 chunk hooks, 1 clean one.
Once again he shakes his head in disbelief

A quick look in his box make up of a club and says this is the one.
2019 T200 48 gap wedge, true temper amt tour white shaft s300 standard loft, lie and length.
10 shots, 2 hit a little heavy, 8 perfect wee baby draw 100/110 yards, higher flight, spin rate up very lovely feel.

Sm8 F grind 08 bounce i think, 54 plays 55, 1” longer shaft, 2 degs flatter
Tried 12 shots to a close flag, best I could get was about 30ft. 2 shanks and 2 thins

Once again he hands me a club,
Sm9 54, S grind 10 bounce,
10 shots, 2 within 2/3ft, rest all on the green inside 10/15ft.
Im blown away by this and the short game is where I’ve been struggling most lately.

Same process for my old sm8 60deg only used to get used for pot bunkers.
He hand me a sm9 60deg s grind 10 bounce.
Right I want you to hit half shots at that target flag.
10 shots, all hit cleanly, unbelievable high, check and stopping control.
I’m speechless!

His next words were there you go, these are the right clubs for you to get you back down into single figures.
Take my money Titleist!!!

Anybody who is serious about there golf and looking to improve on there game.
I can’t recommend going to get properly fitted enough!!

Received a message from the shop yesterday. My wedges have turned up, so a 2 weeks turnaround from order. The guy in the shop said everyone was shocked with how quickly they turned up and that Titleist must like me

Is there still a national fitting Center in Carton House I can’t find it on the web site. I’m trying to book a fitting.
