  1. Calling all Hybrid Bag Users, I want to hear your feedback!

If you use the current Hybrid 14 or Hybrid 5 stand bag, please could you answer the following questions?

    1) How often do you carry/ how often do you use it on a trolly?

    2) If you do use it on a trolly, are you happy with how it sits?

Your feedback will be much appreciated and be put forward to help us with the development and design the 2024 range! Please be honest. Postive and constructive feedback are both extremely helpful.

If you have any other feedback on the bag, then please let me know.

    Will

    Hi Will

I had a Hybrid for a few weeks, i had to get rid of it as it was not a great fit on my CT2 Powakaddy

    Hope below helps

    1) How often do you carry/ how often do you use it on a trolly? 90% Trolley 10% Carry.

    2) If you do use it on a trolley, are you happy with how it sits? This on my Powakaddy kept pushing the support for the bag top up and the bag sliding under it. and on the CT2 this forced the clip on the front wheel to come unclipped

    Hope this helps .
  3. Absolutely helps, thank you for the quick response

    Hi Will

I mainly use a trolley (push cart or CT6) but do carry about 10% of the time.

I also depends on the weather, I have several bags Tour Premium StaDry, Lightweight 14 Cart Bag, Players 4 Plus StaDry and Hybrid 14 Stand Bag

Unfortunately, the Hybrid 14 Stand Bag does not fit either of my trolleys but I did purchase a bag cozy which ensures the bag does not twist. But I agree with Ian the support is a problem but the legs sit OK.

The only other element is the rain cover, it makes accessing clubs awkward when its raining, but maybe that's just me.

I must admit it is not my favorite bag and I tend to use it for holidays, as it gives you everything you need when playing away, 14 way divider, excellent storage, easy to lift with top handle, comfortable straps and only about 3 kg.

    Hope my thoughts are helpful

Uncle malkie has the 2021 hybrid 14 stand bag.
I’d say he’s probably had it around 8 month now.
It’s never been carried in its life,
he’s got a motocaddy cube push cart trolly.
I think it sits on it ok.
He normally plays 2/3 rounds a week.
One of the legs has just started to play up and not opening.

  6. Will, The pic in my profile, to the left of this box, shows my Limited Edition Hybrid 14 bag: -
    1) How often do you carry/ how often do you use it on a trolley?
80 carry/20 trolley. I have a Cart 14 StaDry cart bag and a 4+ carry bag. I use the Hybrid Spring & Autumn, the Cart in Summer and the carry bag in Winter.

    2) If you do use it on a trolley, are you happy with how it sits?
Frankly, no. It does not sit well on my Motocaddy trolley. It twists and requires correction several times per round.

I bought the Hybrid bag in the hope of using it year-round and reducing to a single bag but I ended up with more bags!
Happy to elaborate further if it would help.

ive had a massive range of titleist bags and wanted to carry for when practicing and trolley in comps. i had a players 5 bag that had seen its best days so i thought id go hybrid so could do both. sadly i felt like its a market that would be good but is niche to say the least.

felt like because its trying to be 2 things it fails on bits that each indivual style bags would do at ease
the folding base just doesnt work with a trolley so sits awkward along with the legs and feel the carry strap system has gone backwards in comfort.

i also have the midsize cart bag as in my profile pic which other than not being waterproof is the best bag produced, espically with the cut out on base which locates to trolley perfect. i however have just aqquired the new black and white one to find the base has been changed again and now doesnt have the locating cut out.

    Hi Will,
It is my main carry bag during the winter as my course tend to ban trolleys once it gets really wet. I like it for the space it gives you but is a little heavy for my ageing shoulders so I will probably go to something lighter this year.

I have an older model Motocaddy trolley and have no issues with the way it sits - it's not as good as a normally cart/trolley bag but it is never going to be with the legs on the bag.
