I’d agree with Simon to a certain level my feelings are there should be a TT shop a bit like the vokey one hats clothing accessories.TT stuff shouldn’t be more expensive than the normal article as we are supporting the brand. Factory tours maybe more competitions either playing days or prizes I appreciate this takes time and effort but I think think the point is Simon is making it’s hard not to be disappointed when different stuff is available in other countries or articles that cost more and people are penalised.

Yes Tim, think you’ve got a few points there, factory tours would be awesome.

Absolutely agree with this, and factory tours is a great idea, would be 100% up for TT exclusive factory tours or alike

This is a great idea, I’m sure it would be very popular.
Club Cameron however has become very frustrating in recent years with increased shipping costs and a poor exchange rate. I was a long time CC member from the very beginning, 2002 I think, it was brilliant back then.

Your right Sean, the import duty is a little sour in the mouth too.
  6. Before anything else congrats on getting the scotty membership... there hard to get! And yes i would also like that along with maybe a few more regular drops of TT bits, maybe balls and tees would be great!

Like the idea of Tee’s Fred, could work together with one of the Bamboo companies.
  8. I totally agree with this as it’s sometimes the small things in life that make all the difference. I’d love to see some member drops like tees or ball markers. I would also like to see more merch this side of the pond. I know they have a shop at the ball factory but it’s not often I get state side and if I do, there’s no chance my family is letting me drag them around a golf ball factory!

I used to be a Club Cameron member but haven't rejoined for a while now. The membership kits always offered fair value, particulalry if you were in the market for whatever the main item was (rucksack / sunday bag etc.). The shipping and custom fees were starting to turn me off, and due to family life and other commitments I can't really justify regualr purchases of £100 headcovers. Having said all of that, I'm very much remain interested in all things Scotty Cameron and admire from afar.

As for TT Membership. We already have it, and it's free. I think what you might be asking for in reality is a wider range and more frequent merchandise drops in the UK.

Also agree with Tim in that the US Vokey store offers some great kit, having that available at competitve rates in the UK would be great.
  11. Had membership for quite a while, but didnt renew this year. My favourite year was getting the vessel backpack, its great and still use it on golf days, work trips etc.
Downside was once getting my Scotty blade putter cover stolen from otside my clubhouse, absolutely gutted - i keep looking for it!
  12. Yes I agree and would happily pay a yearly fee for some exclusive events/gear drops etc.

I do find that the USA gets alot better events like the tours etc. The shipping costs and taxes are too expensive to buy anything from there.

Maybe team titlest could get the tax taken off by titleist UK selling us stuff instead??

I'd agree with that too. The import fees, taxes, shipping etc are certainly a drawback. The costs do add up!

Interested to see what the future brings, it would be great to have more access to some of the gear and exclusives here in the UK.

I agree Simon. I managed to get a Holiday 2023 but can’t get the members kit from SC?

I was told I got a holiday 23 too, but sold before I could pay, gutted.

Uk TT merch is getting much better lately. Whilst I would love to going and the stuff looks cool, I’m not sure I can justify the cost of club Cameron especially when you add on import costs too.

I'd be in for a TT paid membership, TT Prime or TT ambassador, so we got exclusive or prior notice of releases or events. Nothing more annoying that getting the email for an event (playing or fitting) only to find it's fully booked by the time you've read it!!

Again it’s who gets them but the ambassador tags do look nice it would be nice to see in other parts of the world I know vokey make and sell something similar and we all like gifts/giveaways but the just drives the scalpers price up as we’ve seen with the headcovers recently(I will say I would have paid similar £75 what I’d expect to pay retail)I’ve no idea if a TT ship would be viable as it in Us Europe and Australia but maybe somebody to look at it please.

ive also sacked off this years club cameron membership, shame as ive been apart of it for quite a few years now. Asd others have said the delivery and import tax on it makes the eyes water and im yet to get anything from the priorty releases. i also wished the gave an option on head cover, whether it be a blade or mallet style as i would game them but play a phantom

The ambassador tags are the holy grail, yet to see one make it across the pond unfortunately.
TT drops are slowly getting better in the uk, we’ve been complaining for a number of years that USA get all the good stuff on tap the reply was always the same politics / commercial stumbling blocks for the UK members.
I for one have been spoiled over the years from TT for being an active member here and on Facebook, I’d definitely be up for paying more to join a more exclusive TT club / membership. ️‍♂️

Interesting that so many negative posts last year about people who would not pay to attend the TTI in St. Andrews because they thought it was over-priced for not having a guaranteed Old Course inclusion but they would pay an excessive fee for a premium TT membership which probably would not include half the items that were provided to us at St. Andrews. Just one person's perspective...

Great comments and pretty fair I’ve put my name down for Celtic Manor as it’s close no idea what the make up of players uk based or abroad as there’s a few courses around that could make up a tour Royal Porthcawl maybe down Burnham Saunton or drive up the M4 into Surrey. As with the gifts at these events I suppose it’s a bucket list experience and hopefully the day golf experience and gifts match my expectations others will get theirs either here or at the next venue. I’m lucky it’s only 60 mins away so it’s a small trip rather than a major journey others will take.

I can't help feeling that we get pretty good service from our free existing 'membership '. Once we start a subscription we will have expectations that TT may not be able to meet. The more they charge then the more we will expect and if it is a nominal fee then what are they expected to do ? We do need better service in the UK with access to the same stuff with no financial penalty though.

Simon, I've renewed my Scotty membership again this year and get your point about the import duty but having been buying and selling stuff across the pond for years, I've got used to it and have had to accept it.

I'm not sure there's any way around it, would mean every country outside the US stocking all the Scotty releases and can't see that happening, and I don't think the following outside the US or Japan is big enough to warrant it.

TT membership is something else and is possibly something that Will and the team maybe looking into, and would be interesting to hear Will's thoughts on this.

I’ve had Scotty membership in the past but again found the exchange rates and import costs got a bit much. Shame there can’t be an option for goods to be shipped from the U.K. I originally joined to try to get a Halloween release as that’s my birthday, but every time I tried to purchase a special release, they had already sold out.
I’ve been away from TT for a while, but when I was active before, a was lucky enough to get a few items. For something that is completely free to join, it’s a pretty awesome set up. I would consider paying a fee to upgrade though.
