For gapping purposes, I need to bend my 54 one degree strong (54 12D) and am wondering what that does to the lie and bounce?

Bending club 1 degree stronger will decrease bounce by 1 degree as well. It won't change the lie angle unless you change that intentionally. You will end up with a 53.11 essentially.

Been doing it for ages. Taking a 58-14K or 60-14K and bending 2* strong has worked well for 6 years. For me, a 54-14F bent to 52 swings better than a 52-12F gap wedge. I've been using a 48-10F bent to 46 for a good 3 years now.
