Hi there! My name is Lisa and I’m a Team Titleist Staff Member. I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself and thank everyone for their contributions to the Women’s Forum so far. Since my name will be appearing more often on these boards, I wanted to say a quick hello and express how grateful I am for the opportunity to interact with you all.

This is a great place to share your experiences, ask questions, and provide feedback. I would also like to encourage you to share this space with your friends and golfers alike so we can continue to build this community of Team Titleist Women Ambassadors. I’m excited to hear about your adventures on and off the course!

    All the best,

    Lisa

Lisa is very active and plays a very important role in the TT community. Come to one of the TT invitationals and meet her. She is very instrumental in putting them together and does a tremendous amount of behind the scene work for us. We appreciate the input that she has provided during here tenure with Team Titleist. She is a true rock star. We appreciate her efforts in putting this Women's Forum together, which we have never had.

    Hi Mike,

Great question! I'd like to throw this back to you too since I'm always looking for new courses to explore. I mostly stay local to Eastern MA and still trying to crown a favorite. I'll start with three that have the most sentimental value:

    1. Cyprian Keyes Golf Club - I got married here so obviously a favorite. I also birdied 18 and their cocktail room overlooks the green. Of course I told everyone all night that it was the best hole on the course. When I played the first time, I saw a lot of women on course which is always a great sign. It's a tight track but it's beautiful.

    2. The Captains Golf Course- I've played both with my family. We vacation in the Cape every few years so I just have really great memories here.

    3. Old Sandwhich Golf Club- Cheating a little bit here since I never actually played the course, but I spent an entire weekend working at a major junior golf event here. I laughed all week driving around the course a million times and getting lost. It's easy to do on a links style course. Even though I grew up in CT, this was my first time seeing Plymouth. Very memorable!

Ok Lisa. Here we go. My 3 favorites (actually 4-there's a tie),are Essex County Club In Manchester-By-The-sea,,Kernwood Country Club in Salem(both Donald Ross gems), and the tie is Oyster Harbors and Hyannisport, both Cape Cod venues

I'll work backwards with the history and sentiment.

When I was more of a competitive player in the late 90's early 00's, I had the opportunity to play in the MGA Fourball Championship at both Cape Cod venues. As an added bonus my playing partner was a 3 time MGA Publinx champion.Lucky me!!

Being from Salem, Kernwood is in my back yard...literally! As I'm typing watching the snow fall, I'm looking out toward the 11th tee, not much more than a flip wedge away.It was my home course in college and although I no longer caddy (i'll be 67 this summer) I've caddied there many times over the years.

I was a starter on Sunday mornings at Essex CC from 1998-2016 Best part time job a golfer could have! The membership and professional staff afforded me the privilege of playing that golf course more times than I can count. I was so fortunate in that regard, and am deeply in their debt.

So there you have it Lisa.Again welcome!

I'm a twin sister myself! So happy to hear more young women are getting involved. I was also a junior golfer, although my other half was more on the sidelines cheering me on. Thanks for your post.
