Daly and Kim Lead 8-Win Week for Titleist Golf Ball Players

On golf's biggest stages, the winning ways for continue for Titleist, as Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists combined for seven titles around the globe over the weekend. Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 60 victories across the worldwide professional tours, five times the nearest competitor with 12.

Leading the way this week, Titleist golf ball loyalist John Daly (Pro V1x) won for the first time on the PGA TOUR Champions, securing a one-shot victory at the Insperity Invitational.

And in Mexico, Titleist golf ball loyalist Sei Young Kim (Pro V1) captured her sixth LPGA Tour crown, defeating fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Ariya Jutanugarn (Pro V1x) 1-up to win the Lorena Ochoa Match Play.

In addition to these wins, players trusting a Titleist golf ball collected wins on the PGA TOUR (at the Wells Fargo Championship), the Australasian Tour (Papua New Guinea Open) and the PGA TOUR Latinoamerica (Essential Costa Rica Classic).

In the Dominican Republic, Titleist golf ball loyalist Nate Lashley (Pro V1x) earned his maiden victory on the Web.com Tour, winning the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship.

In Korea, Titleist golf ball loyalist Sang-Hee Lee (Pro V1x) came from behind to capture the GS Caltex Maekyung Open.

And on the South African Sunshine Tour, Titleist golf ball loyalist Peter Karmis (Pro V1x) won his fourth career Sunshine Tour title, edging fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Zack Byrd (Pro V1x) by a single point in the modified scoring system at the Investec Royal Swazi Open.

Nate Lashley (Winner)Titleist Pro V1x golf ball

"Words can't really express it. I'm extremely happy and I feel extremely fortunate to be able to be here and be playing well and get a win this week."

These were the words of Titleist golf ball loyalist Nate Lashley (Pro V1x) shortly after he won the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship for his first career Web.com Tour title.

Lashley closed with a 6-under-par 66 for a one-stroke victory over fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Augusto Nunez (New Pro V1x), who fired a 7-under-par 65 to race up the leaderboard.

Last year, the former University of Arizona player topped the PGA TOUR Latinoamerica money list with three wins, earning a promotion to the Web.com Tour this season.

Lashley has clearly carried that confidence over into 2017. He posted a 20-under-par 268 victory total this week, playing the final 66 holes without a blemish on his scorecard.

"We've still got a lot of events left," Lashley said. "I'm just going to take it a couple weeks at a time and yeah, a win gives you a big leg up on the PGA Tour. Hopefully, I can just continue to play well the rest of the year and into next year on the PGA Tour."

Lashley advanced from 24th to second on the money list with the win.

TITLEIST BY THE NUMBERS

 Titleist was the overwhelming field favorite in golf balls at the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship with 110 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x for their success, more than four times the nearest competitor with 20.

Titleist was also the field favorite in irons with 42 and Vokey Design wedges were also the top choice among players with 175 Vokey wedges in the field.

Lashley’s win marks the sixth for Titleist golf ball players through the first eight events this season, three times the nearest competitor with two.

Sang-Hee Lee (Winner): Titleist Pro V1x golf ball

Titleist golf ball loyalist Sang-Hee Lee (Pro V1x) rallied from three shots behind the overnight leader to capture the GS Caltex Maekyung Open by two shots.

Lee, who won the SK Telcom Open last year, fired a final round 3-under-par 68, which included two eagle threes on the front nine.

He posted an 8-under-par 268 victory total.

 Titleist was the most relied upon golf ball at the GS Caltex Maekyung Open with 111 players, nearly eight times the nearest competitor with 14.

Peter Karmis (Winner): Titleist Pro V1x golf ball

Titleist golf ball loyalist Peter Karmis (Pro V1x) closed with nine points at the Invested Royal Swazi Open to clinch his fourth career Sunshine Tour title.

Karmis finished with 49 total points in the modified scoring format for a one-point win over fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Zack Byrd (Pro V1x).

Titleist Brand Ambassador and Sunshine Tour Rookie Herman Loubser (Pro V1x) finished T4 with 46 points.

This year’s Investec Royal Swazi Open field consisted of 72 professionals and 108 amateurs and the event was played under the modified scoring system with points were awarded as follows: Albatross = 8, Eagle = 5, Birdie = 2, Par = 0, Bogey = -1, Double or worse = -3.
