Decisive win for Zunic at inaugural Northern Territory PGA Championship

Titleist golf ball loyalist Jordan Zunic (Pro V1x) captured the inaugural Northern Territory PGA Championship, finishing two shots clear of fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist Max McCardle (Pro V1x) in a wire-to-wire victory at Palmerston Golf Course.

“I’m stoked that I held on all week and came through with the win,” said Zunic after the victory. “I started off well but from the first day until now feels like a lifetime, it was a long week.”

The 24-year old Zunic posted an 11-under-par 273 victory total to earn his second career PGA of Australasia title. His first victory came at last year’s New Zealand Open.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Tim Hart (Pro V1x) finished another shot back to secure solo third.

In fact, each of the top five finishers and 12 of the 13 players who were among the top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

TITLEIST BY THE NUMBERS

Titleist was the most relied upon golf ball at the event with 95 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than eight times the nearest competitor with 11.

The win was the eighth for Titleist golf ball players through the first nine events on the PGA of Australia Tour schedule this season.
