JungHwan Lee Claims Victory in Historic Korean Tour Playoff

Titleist golf ball loyalist JungHwan Lee (New Pro V1x) topped fellow Titleist golf ball loyalist SeungHyuk Kim (New Pro V1) with a par on the first hole of a sudden death playoff to capture the Caido Golden V1 Open.

The win was the first of Lee’s Korean PGA Tour career.

Both players finished regulation at 17-under-par 271. Last week, Kim beat Lee in a playoff at the Descente Korea Munsingwear Matchplay, making it the first time in Korean PGA Tour history that the same players participated in sudden death in consecutive weeks.

Titleist Brand Ambassador EunShin Park (New Pro V1) finished solo 3rd place, one shot out of the playoff.

In fact, 10 of the 12 players who finished among the Top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success, including each of the top eight.

Congratulations, JungHwan!
