In this latest episode of On The Tee, we welcomed Michael Mahoney, Titleist Vice President of Golf Marketing. Michael played a crucial role in guiding the development of the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x, from early concept stages, through exhaustive rounds of testing and player validation to large scale production of the final products that we're manufacturing today in Titleist Ball Plant 3.
It's a process that's measured in years, not months and as Michael told us, “Thinking about the role that Team Titleist members played, that Tour players played, that the associates in our manufacturing plants played, the R&D team who designed and developed these products and made them in the lab, the areodynamacists who were designing dimple patterns three or four years ago that are finally ready for primetime. The engagement level of so many different and unique people is really what stands out about this launch."
