The #1 Ball at the 2016 Men's NCAA Division 1 Championship

When the best in men’s collegiate golf teed it up at this year's NCAA Division 1 Championships, contested at at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Oregon, Titleist was once again at the head of the class.

An overwhelming 126 of the 156 players in the field relied on Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls. That's more than eight times the nearest competitor with 15, and more than all other competitors combined.

Titleist was also the top choice among players in fairway metals (58), hybrids (43) and irons (57). Titleist Vokey Design sand, lob and approach wedges (214) and Scotty Cameron putters (57) also led the way in their respective categories.

It was a similar story at the women’s championship where 120 of the 132 players in the field trusted Titleist golf balls for their success. That's 10 times the nearest competitor with 12 and more than all competitors combined.

In the women’s field, Titleist Vokey Design wedges were the top choice in the sand, lob and approach wedge (177) category and Titleist Scotty Cameron putters topped the putter (46) category.

Across both the men's and women's championships, a total of 246 players trusted their games to Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls - more than nine times the nearest competitor brand with 27 and more than all competitors combined.
