Just received a little brown package with 2019Proto at the door. Can't wait to test them on Wednesday. Hope they get me holes in one. Will report on results.

I also received the 2019 PROTO this morning. Looking forward to getting them in play tomorrow at my weekly men's league round. I will share my results/opinions after I get a few rounds in with them.

It would be pretty awesome to test some prototype balls that are coming out, or any of titleists product

I received a little brown package at my door last night which was perfect as I was rushing out to go to my tee time.

I couldn't tell which of the balls are which, only difference is one had the numbering in red and the other had it in black. The cover felt different and really soft to me on both of the balls.

My friend (who is a 13 handicapper) and I (who is a 25 handicapper) got to the course and I asked him to choose one and I would play the other, he chose the one with the black numbering.

His initial reaction as he hit it off the tee with the driver was "Oh wow!!!" I was also impressed by the speed and the flight of that ball.

He said he had never felt the ball compress like that off the face of his driver. He drove the ball about 5 yards further than his current Pro V1's constantly throughout the day.

I now tee'd off with the red numbered Pro V1 and I also had the same reaction, getting the ball to move never felt so effortless and I was driving my ball around 7-12 yards further than I usually do.

My iron shots felt absolutely amazing! Crisp and had a nice sound. My ball flight with my irons is pretty high normally so when this ball hit the ground it just stopped with a slight backspin (which I never usually get).

My friend loved the ball off the iron, he said he was able to shape the ball a bit better and the flight was perfect to him.

My ball seemed to be a bit better around the greens; my friend said he was having one of those days with his short game. I was able to chip the ball and make it stop or have it roll out. He was having a bit of difficulty getting the ball to stop on the green which was strange to me as his short game is usually on point, chips within 3-6 feet.

Putting was super smooth, felt really soft and had a very nice roll. I didn't have 1 3 putt this round and I nailed a 45 foot putt to save par :-)

Durability wise I only used my ball on 12 of the 18 holes as I didn't want to lose it. My friend used his on 15 holes (I brought them out on the 4th tee box). Mine didn't have any scuff marks; his on the other hand had 3. One from a cart path, one from a tree, and the other we can't tell.

I tied my best round ever yesterday shooting an 87 from the blue tees which I am really happy about. Hopefully my next round with the black numbered ball I will see a lower score.

For now I can say I love this new ball as I can see results for myself in terms of distance, ball flight, and workability around the greens.

I'll definitely be checking the mail for these guys since people are already receiving them. It'd be nice to try them out before the end of the season.

Just got mine delivered to the door today. Will be testing them on Friday, the same day I get fitted for a new TS driver.

Am retired so can TEST/TRIAL golf balls whenever. 64 yrs of age, 7 hcp, 85 kgs and with my 917 D2 9.5 degrees set at 8.75 degrees can reach the 245 metre drives again. Previously had the 905T which was excellent but had to buy/update current technology.

Anyone else test these out? I am really loving them.

Playing tomorrow at Copetown Woods. Playing the current ProV1 and will test out the Proto on the back 9.

Well I was picked and had the opportunity to use the new Protos. All I can say is WOW! Loved the feel off of the putter face. It did not matter whether or not they were the black numbers or the red numbers both had a different and better feel than the older Prov V's. Did like the Red Protos better. When putting it seemed to jump off of the putter face. Had the other guys in our group putt with the ball and the feeling was unanimous all liked the feel of the ball while putting From 125 yards and in both balls were excellent. The Red seemed to drop and stop better with a nicer flight. When chipping it seems that there is a little more spin with these balls rather than the older Pro V's. In my opinion I like the Red numbers better but, Titleist has a winner with these balls.

I played 2 of the black numbers (Pro v1) 9 holes for each ball, in cool soft wet conditions. The ball had nice ball flight, felt great of the club, no real roll out on soft greens.
The balls wear well, they were in perfect condition at the end of play, I'm sure if I didn't lose one in the leaves it would not have any marks on it at the end of 18.
I only played the black because the course was busy, maybe next time I will get the chance to play 2 balls 1 of each.

I played the red numbered ball in my match play final. Crazy wind and rain to start the round and my first tee shot held up great in the conditions. For most of the night, I felt that the ball preformed better in the wind than other balls I have played. I really liked how it felt off the putter.
Distance control and spin were hard to gauge as it was quite windy and cool so survival was the name of the game over testing.

I am looking forward to playing them side by side with a 2018 ProV1 or 1x to give some proper feedback.

Best of all, It helped me win my match 4 & 3 and our team won the league. (It must be a great ball!!)

I am a little behind in this post but I too was fortunate enough to have received a brown package on my front doorstep containing 2 sleeves of wonder!! I have to say it made me feel very special and I smiled ear to ear. So I am off to do some on course testing and am going to use the Green to Tee approach! I do however have one question, our own results, do we just post on here or do we fill out a form or?? any info would be great thank you

I received mine and i wish I hadn't picked up a hook in my last two or three weeks of golf

I played the black number proto while giving my partner a red number. He was driving extremely well and was putting the 2019 proto 10-15 yards further than his normal drive

I found it really responsive around the greens, more so than my normal prov1 (which is now 2 years old). I was able to get it to check up on our artificial greens here in Yellowknife.

We went out the following day and swapped balls. a new one for each of us. My drive was pretty good that day and I found a much different feel on the driver club face. It was good. it gave me opportunity to shape my shots, much more control than I'm used to
