    Hey, Team Titleist!

Let the countdown begin! Today, spring officially arrives at 5:58 PM! And not a moment too soon.

Have you kicked off your new golf season yet? If so, we have one big question for you:

Have you had a chance to play the New 2019 Pro V1 or Pro V1x?

We're very eager to hear about your first impressions of the new models. As we all start getting a few rounds under our belts, please share your thoughts and let us know which model you'll be relying on this year.  I'll kick things off by saying that the new 2019 Pro V1 Yellow feels amazing to me... off the face of my putter... in my living room. Being a golfer in the Northeast can be beyond frustrating! I can't wait to get out on the course again and when I do, I'll provide a more thorough review.

Thanks as always for sharing your feedback with us!

    Rick

Was fortunate enough to spend time with the Protos late last year so I was a step ahead in my selection. I do plan to add a few ProV1 Yellow for the occasional foggy or rainy golf day.
  3. While I am a TruSoft player, I wanted to try the ProV1x when the description said that it was softer as well as having a higher flight. Back in the day I tried the ProV1 and found it to be very clicky and hard, two thing I don't like in a ball. So this past Monday I finished as 2nd low net in the A flight of our monthly senior player golf tourny and got a $10 gift certificate to the pro shop and bought a sleeve of the new ProV 1x to try. So hopefully if the weather cooperates I will be taking it to the course next week. I'll keep you posted on my feelings.

Played a few weeks ago down in Florida and brought a sleeve of the new ProV1s and have to say I enjoyed it A LOT. Everything from the feel, to the ball flight to the durability it was amazing, solid performance IMO.

The durability is what's impressing me the most, amazed how well it looks after a full round. I definitely had a lot of fun playing with this golf ball. Looking forward to a fun year!

Teed up the old Pro V1x in the South Carolina Golf Association's Partners Championship earlier this month. I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the yellow Pro V1x and finally got my hands on some yesterday. I will tee that new ball up this weekend with my sons!

I’ve already bought a dozen white and yellow pro v1 balls with my name and team Titleist on them for the start of the season.

I have a dozen of the Pro V1 to try once the weather cooperates. Snowed all day again here in Western NC. Really ready for some dry warmer days to knock off the rust and try the new ball.

Boy is that the understatement of the month Rick. I've also got mine coming from the Loyalty offer. Hopefully I'll get out over the next week or so in
  13. I have been playing the ProV1x for the past several years. A few weeks ago I tried the new ProV1 and was immediately impressed. I am a high ball hitter and wanted to give the lower trajectory ProV1 a shot. This past weekend I tried a sleeve of the new yellow ProV1. After seeing the difference in being able to track the ball more easily in than the traditional white ball. In fact, two of my playing partners remarked in the difference stated that they were going to tray them out soon. I guess my Loyalty Program order next week will be 4 dozen of the yellow Prov1s.

Have always preferred the ProV1X, but have to say that the AVX's are quite nice.
  17. This is a follow-up to my post of last week regarding the new ProV1x. I played the front nine with the ProV and the back nine with the TruSoft and while I figure this will irk some of the faithful I really preferred the TruSoft. I didn't notice any significant increase in distance with the ProV and felt that, while better than older models, it still felt harder than I like. I did not notice any large increase in height with the ProV over the TruSoft. In all fairness, I did get the ProV to check-up on a couple of shortish chip shots where the TruSoft did run out a bit further. I didn't have any approach shots that danced on the green or backed up due to the spin but then again my game isn't such that I can make that kind of shot happen. All in all the ProV1x is a good ball, but not more so for my game, and given that the TruSoft is just about half of the cost, and at 70 yrs old and on a limited budget, I think I'll keep playing the TruSoft. BUT, I WILL always play Titleist no matter what. Fairways and greens to all.

  18. Loving the new Pro v1x, it feels very solid and has great spin on the greens. Like they combined an AVX with a high spin ball, really great

Pro V is the only ball for me.

I am a dedicated "V" user/believer. That said, I have used the AVX is very high wind conditions with great results (seems to keep the ball flight lower - for me anyway). I did note that as the temps dropped last fall, the AVX did not seem to work as well for me and I went back to the "V" in high wind but I will probably try this again this year in the summer heat.
  21. Played the yellow Pro V1s this weekend on a cloudy day and was able to see the ball better against the sky and when it landed than my usual white.

Not quite used to looking down at a yellow ball at address...would be great if it was white at address/putting, and was yellow while in the air. ;-)
