My best shot was a hole out from 108 yards on a par three with a pitching wedge. After chunking my tee shot on a par three I I walked up to the ball as one of the golf maintenance guys was off to the to side watching from his lawn mower., assessed my lie and flighted down my pitching wedge and got one bounce and hit the flag and the ball dropped straight down for a birdie. The maintenance guy was more excited than me and my partner was and got off his lawn mower ran up to the green and asked me if he could retrieve the ball out of the hole for me....
  3. I would say my best shot is #16 at my home course Orchard Ridge CC. Solid drive and roughly 150 yards in. Holed a 8 iron for a eagle!
  4. 12th hole at Swan Pointe golf course in Issue, Maryland - 189 yards par 3. It was 2005 and I had never played a Pro V before. I found one on number 10 and was playing it when I got to #12. Needless to say I hit a five iron and made a hole in one - my first and only! I have been playing them on and off ever since!!

Many years ago (probably around 2005) when I purchased my Titleist 975 JV-S driver, I hit my first drive with that club on the first hole of Elizabeth Manor Golf Course in Portsmouth. The drive went over 270 yards. I was using a Pro VIx. Even with my new Titleist (05, 09, and now 17) drivers, I have not had a drive that long. Of course, I am older and weaker.

On my wedding day in 2014 I made my only hole in one. 160 yard down hill par 3 over water, hit a 9 iron a little thin that landed past the hole and had the right combination of spin and green slope. Club was a 712 AP2 and ball a ProV1x. Since it was my wedding day I had the 3 people playing with me that I'd most want to see me make a hole in one, and it being down hill we had a great view of the whole thing. That night at the reception people would say "congrats" and to my wife's chagrin I'd always respond "thanks so much, AND I got married today!"
  7. My best was just this March. It only took me 2 shots to get home with my yellow ProV1 on a 480 yard par 5. My first Albatross!

The best shot with a pro V1 for me was a hole out eagle from 100 yards. I’d never had an eagle up until that point and it was the best feeling watching the ball back up off of the second tier of the green about 30 feet into the hole!

  10. Last year Hole 1 Erin Hills hit my TS3 second shot in for an Albatross from 267. The rest of the round didn’t matter like the 6 I took on a 165 yard par 3 on hole 9 ‍♂️.

Do you have a shot that stands out as the best you've ever hit? Fill in the blank and let us know by adding a reply below...

For me, the best shot I hit in recent memory with my Pro V1x was a 2-footer for par on the 18th hole of The Old Course. While the shot itself wasn't anything spectacular, the culmination of that magical experience will be hard to beat for me.

At Bass River Golf Club I hit a 6 iron 170 yards in a 20 mph sidewind for a hole in one using a pro v golf ball. Awesome

I was on 8th hole at my home course (Williamsport Country Club) which is the hardest hole on the course. My approach shot found the left green side bunker which is pretty tough shot considering it was short sided time a pin in the middle of a green that slopes severely from back to front. Check out this video. Oh, and I’m only 8 years old and was using a Titleist ProV1x!!!
  14. My best shot was at reservation beach and golf club in a 4 day golf medal play day 4 on 15 hole my partner was out of bounds hit my second shot into greeside bunker maybe about 25 yards to.pin hit shot to within 1' tap in go on to win tournment my best shot yes a sand shot

On Sept. 23, 2011 I played the Heron Lakes Greenback Course (Portland, Or) with 3 friends. With Pro V1 (ball is resting in a stand in my office) I scored an ace on the 130 yd par 3 number 3 hole With an 8 iron. Then on number 7, a 185 yd par 3, I hit a 5 iron in for my second ace on that nine. These were were my 10th and 11th aces in my 60 plus years of playing this great game.
  16. without a doubt the best shot with my titleist pro-v 1 was a 270yrd par 4 hole in one at Kellers Crossing at Stone Creek Golf Course.

My charity golf tournament, Par 3 133 yards, hit gap wedge with a fresh pro v after hitting cart path last hole. Went up in air and I yelled because it was going deep, ball hit spun back 20 ft right into the hole.
  18. Pulled a drive on a par 5 onto hard pan beneath a bunch of oaks.

The trees had a full high canopy and I had about 20 yards to go to get out of them. Then there was a partial carry over a lake that ran the length of the left side of the fairway to the green. It was 227 to the pin with a 190 carry over the lake on a direct line to the pin, which was back left. Fairway was 20-30 yards wide. Right side of the fairway had dense woods. Green was long and sloped to the water. Slight left-to-right breeze.

I chose to hit a choked down 2-iron with a sweeping draw starting about 15 yards right of the green. Bail out was right into the rough or bunkers.

Struck it perfectly. Ball came out very low for 30 yards under trees. Once it clears the trees, the ball starts to balloon and turn over into the breeze. It tracks the fairway. Lands about a pace onto the green front right and then takes the slope to the back of the green. Ends up 8 inches below the hole. Tap in eagle.

Too bad no one was playing with me, but that feeling of the ball doing exactly what you asked is exhilarating.
  19. Playing at Deland with my great friend Jim and his father Jim … the elder kicking both of our butts at the ripe young age of 81!

I tagged a Titleist 3-wood 235 yards and my Titleist ProV1 landed 25-feet below the hole. Unfortunately, it was a twenty-foot left to right breaking putt, that had to find itself up to the hole which was positioned on the upper tier of the two-tier green (Sunday pin placement!).

I made the putt for an eagle and the younger Jim and I … in spite of being schooled by the elder Jim, ended up winning the over-all by one-stroke and a free dinner at Olive Garden.

Thank you Titleist for my moment of glory!

October, Prestwick, Scotland, 18th hole, 2nd shot lands in a 8’ high pot bunker 30 Yards from the green/flag stick. Using a 60degree wedge, I sent my Prov1 about 8’ over the flag stick, spun it back to 3.5’, made the put for par. My colleagues still talk about the shot, and also the encouragement from my caddie to nail it.
