  1. For quite a while I've preferred yellow to white and that's mostly what I've played ever since Titleist started making AVX and Pro V1x in yellow. But lately I've used some white Pro V1x and found one situation where yellow probably isn't ideal...

In late summer when our Bermuda rough is really deep and thick, finding any ball can be difficult. It settles to the bottom and you almost have to step on it. But the white balls are just a tiny bit easier to see from 10-15 yards away than they yellow ones, when just the top of the ball is near the top of the grass.

But still, in most cases I think yellow is better.

I find yellow much easier to follow. When I grew up tennis balls were white but switched to yellow because they were easier to follow. I find the same with golf balls.
  3. Definitely helps for me! At least until I can start hitting more fairways that is.
  4. I switched to the yellow ProV1x and I can't imagine going back to playing white balls. They are much easier to locate on the golf course and this helps improve the pace of play.

Side note: I think they also more durable than their white counterparts but I can't prove that.

I went to the yellow AVX a couple of months ago, and I love the color! Can track it really easy in the air and I find it more easy to find in the rough. I also like the fact that not a lot of people play it, so that makes it easier to spot as well.
  6. I find that yellow or the bright green/yellow balls are much easier to follow. I think you will like them.
