I've always used 91% rubbing alcohol, if that helps.

FIRST switch to brown wood tees, that will end white marks on the bottom on the club. Anything else hot water and a mild soap will take off.

A magic sponge has removed all the white tee marks off my clubs for years , and they also keep my shoes looking imacculate for a lot longer than just a cloth would
  6. I just upgraded my irons from the AP1 714s to the AP1 718s. The 718's have a much more pronounced under cut cavity than the 714s and look like they are going to be harder to clean given how deep the cavity is on some of the irons. Any suggestions out there?
  7. Does anyone on the forum have AP1 718's? Just got them and wondering how to clean those deep undercut cavity wells in the back. The old AP1 714s did not have them. They look like they are hard to clean and that a lot of crap can accumulate in them not to mention moisture. Have not played them yet and I'm having doubt's about keeping them because of this . Anyone out there?

Lucky me! I conducted a blind experiment of 5 solutions , that cater to rust and club shine for my titleist AP2 irons from Scotland. The best, by far was " Liquid Performance - Premium Marine Metal Polish 8 oz." Around that price you wont find anything cheaper, you will notice a mirror like finish that is strong.

Think about a change to natural color wood tees.
    No more white marks.
  11. The tee marks come off easy with a Mr clean magic eraser. My irons get the toothbrush and dawn dish soap.

I wipe my irons with a wet towel after each shot. Sometimes I will also use the GrooveIt brush which also works well for the grooves.

Good old magic eraser does the trick.

Add another Magic Eraser user to the list. That and a bristle brush for my irons takes care of it.
