Love my GT2 W3. Been playing a TM Sim2 for a couple of years and been happy about it, but when I got the GT2, man, this is a different breed. Looks, the sound and ball flight are so much better.

I got the GT3 driver and GT3 16.5 fairway in the GD UB shafts. If you told me I had to give one of them back, I would definitely keep the fairway, great launch and feel, the sound is between muted and a crack, just perfect and so easy to launch.

    Huddersfield,

Not been a Titleist player for a while but the GT range has dragged me back onboard. I picked up a GT2 5 wood recently to replace an old Cobra LTDx, it’s an absolute weapon! I’ve ordered a 7 wood to go with it and just been fitted for a GT3 driver today

The attached image is what I call “dirty dozen”. It has my 915D2 driver and GT2 5 wood.

    What’s on my thumbnail has a TS2 driver, 915Fd 15 fairway and my ever-so-faithful 910F 7 wood.

I have a Diamana 70g R that I ordered off eBay that should be arriving next week. I hit the GT2 solid with the stock shaft (Tensei 65) but I will fare better with the 70g shaft. My 3 wood has an S70+ R (42.5”) and 7 wood has an Ilima 71. (41.5” C3 Surefit). The 9 wood has a Diamana 72 x5ct S at 40.5” (soft stepped). The 3W, 7W and 9W are D2.

The Diamana 70 R (with -4 head weight) did well on the course this weekend with the GT2 5 wood. I’m also going to try a Diamana 72 x5ct R with a 41.5” club length.

The best shaft for the GT2 fairway has been the Diamana 70R. I don't like the feel of the Tensei 65R. It is the best 5 wood ever. I had the 7 wood but my 910F 21 hits much better. The bag in the thumbnail is my best hitting setup. The TS2 driver with Tensei AV 55R at 44.5" is fantastic.

Update: I was able to get my GT2 7 wood back for the cost of a shaft (literally). My TSR2 16.5 totally blew away my GT2 5 wood at the range both off a tee and off the deck (lofts are 18 vs 18.75). I negotiated a trade between the GT2 5 wood and the 7 wood. I had a Diamana 60 shaft installed and changed the head weight to standard; the 7 wood hits very well at the A2 setting. The TSR2 has a 42.5" Diamana 70 R installed with 11g head weight. My 9 wood has a Diamana 70R and it also hits very well. Personally don't like the 65G Tensei IV supplied with the GT2 fairways as stock. The GT2 7 wood will be paired with my 915D2 driver for a Sunday bag setup.
  8. I recently got fit for a 3w. I had been playing a Sim2 with a Diamana GT that was like a rocket. I was fit into a GT2 with a Graphite Design DI, and this launches way higher and goes farther.

The all black head does look smaller next to the ball at address compared to the Sim2, so that took a bit of getting used to, but the results is amazing, it's a club I want to pull out of the bag now instead of my hybrid for that long second shot.
