Personally, I like to rotate between models and I'm a big fan of both for different reasons. How about all of you... do you have a go-to bag?

My stand bag is what I use about 95% of the time. The only time I use my cart bag is for the couple of golf trips I make during the year because I can carry pretty much everything I may need during the trip in it.

I switch quite often, I have three staff bags and a lightweight stand bag, for practice and when I walk I use the stand bag, for tournaments or when I have a caddie I use the staff bag.
Can't go wrong with any Titleist bag.

In the last few years, I've been riding almost exclusively. First because of an injury that prevented me from carrying, and then because pretty much everywhere I play requires a cart.

Carts aren't always safe...

However, I have found if you are playing in the cold rain, pushing a cart out of a ditch is a great way to loosen up before a round.

I'm always with my stand bag as I am a walker. I only take carts for charity golf tournaments and/scrambles which the stand bag works just fine on the cart.

I'm a stand bag guy because I walk more often than not. However, I do like the look of the cart bags!

Decided a few years back to go old school.... I now walk every 18 holes (some tournaments will not allow walking so I have to make that exception) but as a whole, I enjoy the time spent walking fairways and greens while slacking the bag. It's been a great sourse of happiness for me and a pretty darn good workout.

Stand bag for sure.. It fits me perfect when I carry or put it on my push cart.. And it's a must when i hit the range, some of the bag holders at the range are horrible..
Also, it fits nicely in my trunk...

100% stand bag for this guy. I've got the Titleist Lightweight bag and it works just as well off a cart as on. The stand bag is lighter, easier to carry, and they stand up on their own. I try to walk as much as possible, and walking with a cart bag is silly. I've also been forced to take a cart, and my stand bag fits in there nicely. If I was going to go with a cart bag, I might as well go with a Staff Bag.

I use 9.5 Staff Bag. Playing in Florida using golf car is a must. Not carrying so might as well use the Staff Bag

I use a stand bag, but very rarely walk. I do like the ease of use when practicing. But, back surgery years ago prevents any full round carrying of the bag. I sometimes will carry for a few holes, but that is the limit. I would love to walk all 18 and have someone else carry mine for me.
Craig PShawano, WI
I am in the exact same category as Tyson. I have the Titleist Lightweight Stand Bag now and took one of the "X" straps off....less clutter. Some times I can't use a cart to get to the range, and the lighter bag is easier to get into and out of the automobile. I may get the new single strap model, but it doesn't have as many pockets. If the pockets are larger that might work as living in the mid west requires a couple of layers of clothes at the ready.

Never understood the cart bag. I can put so mych stuff in a stand bag. Fitting those big bags in my trunk and lugging through airports is too much work.
What more do you need than rain pants, pullover (s), and towels? Maybe I'm missing something.
I can honestly say I will never own a cart bag. Too big.

I switch between a Titleist Staff bag and a Titleist stand bag.

Currently using a Titleist Standbag and have had this bag for ages! Time to upgrade and thinking of going with a Mid-Size Staff bag! I think this bag looks great and vibrant!
I like to walk certain course when I play but if not possible then I will take a cart. I feel the standbags don't fit in the carts very well and thus thinking of a staff bag.
Also, what would be cool is if Titleist could manufacture a Titleist Brand Pull/Push Cart! I would love to see the Titleist script on one of those carts and would purchase one! Anyone else with me?!

Yes, I understand there are others that control the market with the carts but it would be cool to have a cart with the Titleist script on it. I guess if we can dream it then it is possible somehow. I'd buy it. I am considering a cart for the upcoming season.
[/quote] Agree, it would be cool. Get Clicgear to make them for Titleist and I am all over it......best push cart I have ever owned....Titleist has some sweet bags.......

I use my cart bag almost exclusively now. I probably walk about ½ the time and when I walk I always use my push cart. My new Titleist light weight cartbag works like a champ in both situations.

I like to walk and carry quite a bit, so my primary is a stand bag. Also I don't carry a lot of extras, so storage isn't that much of an issue. Bag is a Titleist Ultra Lightweight stand bag.

I use my stand bag except for golf trips.

My go to bag is a cart bag since I play after work and have to make use of time wisely, not to mention take advantage of weather warm enough to play in!!

Hey Mike,
I choose the Mid-size Staff bag as it looks great and is durable as well to handle the duties of cart golf. I have an old Black and White 10.5 Staff bag that I use more as a shrine my office of old sticks that are out of the rotation. I have a yellow stand bag for the rounds where I need to stretch em out a bit!! All great bags and could not be happier with the quality.

I play a cart bag when I'm in the northeast but play a stand bag when I'm in Florida since I usually walk where the courses allow.
N Anthony SVirginia Beach, VA
I pretty much stick to the cart bag my wife gave me a couple years ago for my birthday. Most of those I play with prefer riding usually due to being under a tight time schedule. Recently though I have considered purchasing a stand bag. I plan on playing more when it's conducive to walking. Of course, when I do make the purchase it will be a Titleist bag.
Sam ESan Diego, CA
I started with a stand bags, then went to a cart because of their utility and flat bottom for push carts.
When I saw the Titleist Staff Stand bag, I fell in love with it's beauty and dropped the cart bag. The flat bottom makes it work on push carts.
mark wDallas, TX
I generally use a cart bag unless I walk. I ride about 75% of the time.

Light weight titleist stand bag for walking
Richard HGrand Prairie, TX
I love cart bags for their storage and organization, but I can't stand them falling over on windy days at the range. My clubs are too important to me to trust them with a cart bag, so I've made the switch to an Ultra lightweight stand bag. It's also nice to be able to walk the course - saves money and I get plenty of exercise.

Completely agree. I had a couple instances with a cart bag taking a tumble in the parking lot and that convinced me to make the switch to a stand bag. I tend to ride more than walk, so I opted for a bag with a cart strap system to get the best of both worlds. I like having the option to walk a quick 9 as well.

I prefer stand bags light weight and a big a plus when on the range.
