Enjoyed it more. I love watching them play golf and listening to the interaction of some of them being miked and listening to the media apologize for the occasional slip of the lip. Now if we could cut down on the conversations between the analyst's. Enjoy the play by play and interviews, but sometimes it gets annoying. Know that fans help with the revenues but the sponsors and TV are the major contributors. So nice to go a round without those idiots in the crowd looking for their fifteen seconds of fame. If you look back at the matches of old, golf was more respected by the fans. They were silent and applauded accordingly. The Masters have it more under control. No worries, they will return.

I don't miss the fans at all. Very interesting to listen to the conversations.

I do miss the fans, but don’t miss the late-afternoon drunks yelling at the moment of impact on every shot.

A little getting use to... but I’m good with it. Would love to hear all the players miked up. Or in the case of BK, a boom mic 5’ behind him. Would need a delay, but for me it makes them more relatable. I also like the no bleachers or fans to kick balls back into play. Wouldn’t mind eliminating 75% of the marshals as well. I don’t get somebody spotting for me when my ball lands clearly in play and nestles down in 4” rough... that costs me a stroke every time! Finally, it’s interesting to see how loud silence is. It used to be the drunken idiot that was a distraction. Recently I’ve seen/heard bird calls or movement 250 yards out throw off a player. An interesting study in psychology for sure.
  6. I THINK THE FANS ARE A PART OF THE TOUR.SEEING TV WITHOUT THEM IS KIND OF BORING . I"M NOT WATCHING AS MUCH TV GOLF AS I DID BEFORE COV19 . SO LETDS GET BACK TO HAVING THE FANS BACK ON THE COURSE. NOT MANY CASES OF COV19 REPORTED FROM ALL THE RIOTING AND LOOTING. SO GOLF IS BETTER WATCHING THEN ALL THE RIOTING AND LOOTING. LET'S GET BACK ON THE COURSE IN WATCHING PRO GOLF.

Without the fans they are getting more lies as if we were playing the course, no extra helpful bounces off of a fan that was hit by a golf ball and got a favorable bounce to the fairway as apposed to the high rough. Fans around the green yelling for a great shot as apposed to no sound and it's one foot from the hole. No ricochet off the grand stands onto the green.

I have not missed them during regular tournaments, but I did miss them during the PGA Championship.
  9. I miss them less than I thought I would. It's great to hear the player/caddie conversations--I understand why some players are against the idea, but it makes me wish we had players mic'ed up on tour!

I liked it withoiut the fans.. Somehow, even the baseball playoffs were better with cardboard cut outs in the seats. Glad the PGA Tour didn't go that route.
