    Hi everyone -

We wanted to share a very special story that we had the honor of being part of at this week's Valero Texas Open.

Texas-native Alex Trevino is an incredibly strong 15 year old battling Ewing's sarcoma, his second fight with cancer. Through a collaboration with Make A Wish and the PGA TOUR, Alex arrived at the Valero Texas Open to a surprise day filled with golf, PGA TOUR players and a trip to the Titleist Tour Van.

Little did he know, Alex would hit golf balls on the range, walk with Jordan during his practice round and ended the day officially signing with the Titleist team - a dream that he shared with the Make A Wish program.

Watch the moments from his day with Jordan Spieth, Jimmy Walker, Davis Love III and the Titleist Tour Staff in the video below:

And like any PGA TOUR player, Alex's "What's in the Bag" was featured on the homepage of GolfWRX. Check out their feature here

    What's in Alex's Bag:

    • Pro V1 All #19 with ALEX in black
    • TS2 9.5* Driver Tensei 55 s-flex
    • TS2 15* Fairway Tensei 65 S-flex
    • 718 AP2 AMT White, S300, 4-P
    • 818 H1 21* Tensei Blue 70 S-flex
    • SM7 52.12 Dynamic Gold S200
    • 56.10 Dynamic Gold S200
    • Scotty Cameron Select Newport with custom stamping "A.T."

We'd like to give a huge thank you out to the PGA TOUR and Make A Wish for allowing Titleist to be a part of Alex's experience, as well as the Titleist Tour Staff and PGA TOUR players who gave him a day he won't forget.

    All the best,

    Abby

Bonus: Wishes to Alex from PGA TOUR players

It's wonderful to see Titleist and the Tour Pro's take the time to support the kids like Alex. I appreciate you sharing this Abby. Thanks
  15. An awesome story! Hats off to Titleist and their players for participating and giving Alex an unforgettable experience. And huge acclaim to The Make-A-Wish Foundation for putting this all together.

My brother was diagnosed in lymphoma while we were in high school (he is doing great now). He received a wish from The Make-A-Wish Foundation and it was a difference maker for him and our family. Staying positive is critical in those times and Make-A-Wish helps make that happen. In the future, when Alex looks back on his fight with cancer, rather than remembering the horror of countless hospital visits and being poked like a pin cushion, he will remember the time he got to meet his hero and experience a dream.

Make-A-Wish is a fantastic organization. Thanks for supporting it, Titleist.

I'm not crying...you're crying. Seriously, Make a Wish is amazing. I've done a few CT tourneys with them and the stories they tell warm your heart. Kids dreams coming true , and the simplicity of what they want (especially when they exceeded their expectations) are so cool to hear.
