I have a good one to share. This past year, I was playing in a multiple day member guest. While using my range finder during the last round, I went to use my range finder and it was GONE! I could imagine what could have happened, but none the less I asked the Pro to make an announcement asking if anyone found a Bushnell. Of course, there was NOTHING but silence in the room...Chalked it up to me be naïve and just assume no one would have gone through my cart and picked off the gun, but I was proven Wrong. Very disappointed that someone would actually go into my cart between rounds and pinch my gun....I am hoping Karma finds it way to whoever took my gun. Anyway, my beautiful wife knew how mad I was and how I rely on the gun for my distances...So for fathers day, she surprised me with a brand new Bushnell with the built in magnet. Thinking this would be great, as I can always place it back on the pole in front on my face on the cart. Of course, not being used to having a new gun that was black and somewhat blended in, I think I left it on the cart after my round for at least the next 3/4 rounds and thankfully each time, the caddy crew at our course was gracious enough to keep checking for me after my rounds and put it back in my bag. After playing a 2 day event between 2 different courses, of course I did the same thing yet again. Left my gun attached to the dam cart. Did not realize this until I was reaching into the pouch on the 1st hole of day two and said to myself...I did it again. Since it was such a terrible rainy day, I decided to not call the other course, expecting to hear, Nope no one turned in a gun, so I decided to drive back to the other course as soon as my round was done and prey the gun was still there. After my round, I get in the car and head over..It is still pouring buckets, and I think that worked in my favor as the other course we played the day before actually did not let any carts out. As soon as I got to the lot, I ran into the proshop and asked, and of course, got the answer I was expecting...No sir, nothing turned in. So I decided I would take a walk over to the cart barn and poke my head around. Sure enough at the very opposite end of the barn, just about the last cart to check, there it WAS. Stuck to the same pole I left it on the day before. Lesson learned after too many almosts with another gun. From that point forward, I set an alarm/reminder on my phone about 4 hours after the start of my round to send me a "Gentle kick in the butt" reminder to NOT forget to gun again. Great post and apologies for rambling a bit. Finished this post in pieces.. Best and happy holidays to all and most of all BEST OF LUCK never dropping or losing anything on the course again. -Brian
