  1. Man this thread is the story of my life.

I swear about 25% of my shots are near tour level.
50% of my shots are average.
25% of my shots are absolute garbage.

I'm a hell of a scramble player. I can't seem to put it together on my own though, I've never broken 80. But thats one of the goals! I'm caving and am determined to get some lessons! There's a Titleist instructor (John Kostis) in my area that I intent to work with in the next year or so. I think I'm going to start with a 1 hour lesson to focus on swing mechanics and hopefully learn some new drills then do a 90 putting lesson and go from there until I break 80 lol.

OK Maybe not 25 % are tour level... maybe 5 to 10% lol.

Bulle rock is operating and a beast to play. It was home to the LPGA McDonalds championship. Twice a year is enough for me.

Best feeling posting a solid under par score. Worst feeling straight block Banana slicing one out of bounds on the first tee lol

The hardest shot in golf is the first shot. Or at least that’s what i tell myself, lol.

Yes it comes with this crazy game - last weekend shot 84, 73... same guy, same course, same tees, same Titleist clubs and Pro V1X. I just play and every season I have a few great days (73) and a few bad days (84) and the rest are always 77-81. What I have realized is I seem to have no control over when they happen!!!!!

So your head hits the pillow after a long day of golf...do you dwell on the good shots or the bad shots? I know I have some of each but why can't I eliminate the poor ones...

starting to play a little bit better, finally getting accustomed to the T300 irons. Now i just need to have a about 100 hats so they don’t get to sweaty from this heat here .

Well at lease the newer polyester material washes up better than the older 100% cotton ones. Sweat stains wash out well and the hats dry without shrinking up at the seams. Cooler weather headed your way in another month or so.

I went out and bought a couple of new ones :). I’m so looking forward to some cooler weather. I’ll be down in SD in about 9 days. Thinking of hitting up the North Course.

I always say, golf is the equivalent of the game "Whack-a-Mole." Fix one thing, another problem pops up immediately!
  13. Been there done that. Have to add to that a bit. Got caught up in it yesterday. New driver fever. Stretch of Par 4’s yesterday in range of 270-305. Instead of hitting an 5 wood center of fairway I hit driver every time overran the fairway into the rough or deadpan/hard pan behind the bunkers. Instead of playing for a position to make a 50-75 yard wedge shot that I hit well and close I was chipping and short pitching where I couldn’t get any spin on the ball whatsoever. Ended up making bogey on two of those. after my drives put me within 10-20 yards. 4 holes I could have made birdie on played 2 over. “New Driver Fever”. I hope to have that hitting every fairway issue soon. Lol. Hit ‘em straight.

Well Amanda. I think we've all have been there.

One thing to know. Golf spelled backwards is flog, and some days we all feel like we're flogging it.
