Yes, we plan on having our local San Diego outing again in March. We usually do Daylight Savings Sunday but will bump it out a week later in 2021 as the Team Titleist International has been rescheduled to bump close to our date and we want to give people that are playing both (me) some time to travel and recover. Location of our event TBD.

Dale will be announcing if/when there is a local SD event, but it may be a weekend earlier in the last weekend in February. The TT International at Caso de Campo for 2020 was rescheduled to the second weekend in March, 2021. I've marked my calendar.

Dale, I have never met you or talked to you on the phone. But through your insightful & informative posts I feel like I know some things about you & they are all good. I enjoy your posts as I do others. I'm not the most informational person so when there is someone like yourself & others on this forum I appreciate and enjoy viewing what they have to say. I have learned so much from this forum over the years.

You're fine in my book, do let it bother you.

I don't look at this forum as often as I should, but I find the posts here to much more polite and informative than other golf forums.

Dale, you have always expressed your opinions, but they have been done in a polite manner overall! I think this forum is managed very well by the Office Managers, and they try not to have hostile stuff on here! Keep up your insightful opinions! If I think differently than you, so be it!

Dale, I wouldn't worry about it. It's the internet and nothing you've posted has ever been on that side of the fence! Sometimes people need to step back and read it a couple of times then realize it's words on the internet. You can't take into consideration facial expressions or tone of a voice when reading unless said words are explicit in the manner they are typed.

Where I come from ( North East England ) we have a saying "Just call a spade a spade" no one should be offended by any posts you have listed
Anyway the world has gone mad and thank heavens the PC Brigade don't get to hear the banter in our 4 ball or we could be in trouble!!!

  14. Dale, other than being a bit jealous of your bucket list post of where you have already played, I love your take on the game. Keep posting, no worries.

Ha ha! Thanks Eric. I look at it as years of wanting to hit some of these courses that was not possible for budget, work, family reasons are now possible. I kind of feel like I am representing the entire TT family on these trips, giving everyone a glimpse in hopes that they too can make it there someday. Cheers!

Yes Mark, the Royal & Ancient Clubhouse in St. Andrews. Now that the kids are off the payroll I have been making an effort to hit the "must play" courses on my bucket list. So glad I was able to make the trip while I can still manage to play halfway decent and the aches and pains of added years have not stopped me from swinging a club. We still need a Team Titleist Ireland trip to Royal County Downs, Royal Portrush, and Ballybunion.

Definitely a bucket list kind of trip. Hope you're able to go soon as I can't wait to read about it here.

As a new TT member, I must say that I find Dale's posts informative, interesting and entertaining. If some members are offended by certain comments/posts/replies, it must be related to their frustration for not getting a TT bag tag.

Since the pandemic started, everyone seems to be taking things up a notch. I think this is a space where we should share our love for the game and support each other in many ways.

In 2018, when I lived in a house next to a golf course, I was playing 150 rounds a year. In 2019 because of work, I did not play more than 30 rounds. This year, I have only played 12 rounds; now that is frustrating, but it does not make me love golf any less or justify throwing darts at anyone. Dale, you are one of the legitimate TT members.

    Keep posting!

Dale your posts are excellent; to the point and informative. I enjoy reading them. Please keep them coming.
  23. The fact that you value this community and want to foster mutual respect says a lot about your character. None of us are perfect, and missteps happen, but your willingness to own it and invite feedback is admirable. Just like in golf, it’s all about striving for improvement and staying mindful of the people around you.

Okay, it occurs to me that sometimes I can be a bit stubborn and opinionated (so my wife says) and that may occasionally bleed over into my posts. Just like on the golf course, I want to treat my fellow TT'rs with respect and understanding for their posts and opinions. Especially these days when everyone seems to have a heightened sensitivity and we just have lost our ability to have frequent face-to-face dialogue. My intend is never to imply that my opinion is somehow better than anyone else's and that your comments are not valued and appreciated. I am so glad we have this opportunity here on this site and I want to continue to nurture it and treat it with the same respect I would treat each of you on the golf course. Please feel free to call me out and remind me if i step on any toes out there. My intent is always good, execution maybe not always on par.

    OK, FORE !!

With respect, we discourage bringing up posts from four years ago? Think my right honorable friend and fellow Ambassador, Dale will agree. Something we have discussed previously and trying to avoid on this forum. Unfortunately Titleist cannot place them in a dead file after a period of time, something we have been in favor of. Being new to the site, it does occur on occasions. Welcome to TT FMarkov.
