  2. Brandon Dunes will be my next trip.
  3. Kiawah Island - either Ocean or Osprey courses.

  4. It would have to be Augusta, but that is dreaming obviously. Second would definitely have to be pebble beach.

I have been very fortunate to play some unbelievable courses over the years. St. Andrews, Pine Valley, Oakmont, Pinehurst #2, Baltusrol and Congressional to make a few but I love love to tee up a Titleist Pro Vx at Pebble Beach. The history, the views and the challenge are something I would love to experience. Maybe one day??

Any PGA course just groomed for tour but if only 1, AUGUSTA.
  10. "The Currituck Club" on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Always dreamed of playing there, but it is above my pay grade.
It looks so beautiful from the pictures I have seen.

I am old 72. Priorities boys... right now, I just want to play anywhereit's 72 degrees & I don't have to wear a mask. At my age how can I flirt with cart girls if I can barely breath and they can't see my cute face. Right now it's any course that is fun with no masks and no COVID-19.

For most of us over the last few months, we’ve been dreaming about the next time we can pack up the club glove and jet set to a new destination. But in the meantime, why not daydream (or reminisce) of that golf trip of a lifetime? Whether you’ve already checked it off or it’s still on your list, we want to hear from you.

What’s your bucket list course to play with your Pro V1?

Pacific Dunes at Bandon is my next one for this summer. We are not traveling very far right now.
  15. Ah the list is long...but I was Shanghai’d from my trip to Ireland and Scotland last year due to son’s wedding, the year before due to illness, and this year because of CoVi19. Will I ever make it?

I have played links-style courses, but never a true links course and I wonder, just wonder, if my game could yield a reasonable score (given reasonable weather conditions). I did make it to St Andrews over 20 years ago, but never got to play, due to abject weather that was not only frigid and wet, but the wind made it impossible to stand still, let alone address a ball - and perhaps my game was not quite worthy then. It was torture to be there and not be able to swing a club on the course. What exactly do the golf gods need me to do to be received by the hallowed grounds? So, yes, St Andrews and all the other bucket list of Irish and Scottish courses - As much as I’d love to play many of the unavailable private American courses, at least they still consider golf the people’s game and I can get on those courses over there, whereas here, it’s so much more elitist still (pffft!). I’ve played many of the available public US courses on the bucket list, and I could go back to a number of them again and again, but a bucket list is a bucket list, and I’d like to get there before I do kick it.

So, God’s willing, I will still have my health, my game and the finances to play these fantastic Scottish/Irish legends - that’s where I want to go play before I die. After all, I brought my index down below scratch, I’m kind and thoughtful to fellow golfers, show up for my tee times, encourage young players, women and old timers (me included), clean my clubs and golf shoes after each round, never throw tantrums on the course, accept my penalty shots honestly and gracefully, protect my putter with a head cover after each hole out, rake the traps, wear appropriate attire, fix my pitch marks on the greens (+2 more), tip the course employees, count all my strokes, replace my divots, keep up pace of play/play ready golf, tip my hat at the end of each round and thank each playing partner individually - I’ve put in over 30 years of golf, am I not worthy now, golf gods?

  17. Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort, only because I know I could play it but I'll never find a way to get to Bulgaria.
