I would like tips on pitch shots from a tight lie in the fairway. I am great out of the bunkers & ok out of the rough but scared to death of chip & pitch shots off a tight lie in the fairway. Also, what loft & mainly bounce are best for these shots? Thank you.
  2. I struggle with around the green on short pitches and chips. Pitches onto to elevated greens I either chunk or blade. Chips are not so bad but the pitches are costing me strokes.

Swing advice for older players that may not have their previous flexibility and strength to make the proper swing adjustments in order to still score.

How do you get more loft out of the bunker?
  5. Something I would like to see is instructors focusing more on the student's on-course performance and not just what they see on the lesson tee. Perhaps there could be a standardized, digital methodology for students to enter
their shot-by-shot performance on the course. This would produce data that could be evaluated by the instructor. If such systems do exist already, then their usage should become commonplace with PGA teaching pros.

Looking for drills to achieve better face control.
  7. How about a presentation on proper set-up, hand location and grip locations...

I'm right-handed. If I could take a picture of my hands at impact.....where should my right hand be? Already rotated over the left hand? Starting to rotate over the left hand, or as at address...right hand next to left hand?
I think my hands are as they are at address and I assume I'm losing power....any drills to get correct rotation timing? Thanks!!

The Swing. In the old days (Nicklaus, Palmer, Trevino),the swing was said best to be done at 85% of maximum. Lee Trevino is even quoted as saying to Jack, that they were in trouble if athletes ever decided to take up the game. Well that has obviously happened. Since the Tiger error it seems the "New" swing is to swing as hard as you can now in control, but to get to the point where you CAN control swinging as hard as you can. Is this in fact the "New" way to do things?

If my right elbow needs to be close to my right hip on the down swing and my right hand needs to feel like I am holding a pizza tray how does that look and how does this make sense?? feels foreign to me
  12. I would love to fix my fat shots with my irons. 75% of the time I hit them well, but the other 25% is really hurting my scoring chances. My driver and hybrid are not a problem as I usually stripe those with no problem.
  13. Two topics:

    A. Practice: If you have one hour of practice time, how would you allocate the hour?
    B. Short chips and pitches from tight lies: How would you play lies from very tight, false front style lies? Ball position, club of choice etc.

I would love to learn how find the fairway more often but off the tee. I also would like to eliminate 3 putts and the dreaded duff chip shot from just off the green.

While any tips from the pros are always welcome here are a few that I'd hope to hear:

    1. how to use the ground more effectively and what impact this has on their distances
    2. they look like they aren't swinging hard or fast, yet have very high swing speeds. How do they accomplish this and what tips can they offer to help us with increased swing speeds.
    3. how often are they changing clubs, wedges, etc.? and rather than months, in rounds of golf and practice times?

Late to the party here, lots of good questons already.

Mine has been addressed by Abdon, but I'd really like to learn some good drills (in case one doesnt' work for me) fo consistently making ball first contact with the irons. Things like proper ball positon for say mid irons, and on from there. It's the area I struggle in most. I don't hit it horribly fat, but just missing by a inch or two I know is robbingh me of consistent flight and distance.

I’d love to see some drills to help execute low trajectory chips and pitches that spin
