It depends on who the players are in the group. I'm less inclined to assume "gimmie" putts with players who I haven't played with before. At the same time, I'm always conscious of "pace of play" and if our group is getting a bit behind, the "gimmie" putts are readily handed out.
  2. My Sunday group you putt them out. Playing casually will give a one-footer, but I like to hole them out because we get no slack on Sunday.

I think it depends on the situation and who your playing with. If its for money with good players I'm ok with one foot. If I'm playing in a league leather is fine. If we are playing for fun and the player is not very good 3 feet if fine.
  4. I’ll offer a Good Good inside 2 feet or so, but if they deny it I will do my full routine and putt it out.

No gimmes on a par or better score, even if someone says it's good. It's a bad habit to get into. Putting is half the game. Of course, match play is all within your discretion.

It depends who I'm playing with, but I would have to say majority of the time a foot is a gimmie. Sometimes longer if I'm playing with good friends.
  7. Yes... I've done both, but only with my foursome or in casual games to speed up the round. In club outings/competitions/league play, we ALWAYS putt out to comply with the rules.
Remember, always fill divots and repair your ball mark... and one other!!
  8. If something is on the line you need to putt it out.
You can have it if you are out of the hole though I still prefer to putt everything out.
Never know when that 3 to 5 footer your now looking at can mean cash in your pocket or someone else's
