Tight dispersion followed by shaping shots. With my TSR2 driver I am able to land in the fairway more hitting a straight ball as well as hitting a draw. Awesome club!

I have to like the look and feel of the club head at address. The second factor for me is having a tight dispersion. I have played Titleist clubs for most of my career. I love the irons and I am excited to try the new driver. I was fitted at Club Champion and I have been talking to them about the new driver. Very excited and impressed with the continued great playability of Titleist Clubs.

Appearance is important to me, don't like a busy driver head, but most important is total distance. I play in Oklahoma and it is windy most of the time. Hitting a driver high is not good unless you rarely are down wind. So, I'm looking for a driver that carries and rolls a lot with my draw. I look for a neutral face. Since I'm 76 and a disabled vet, overall distance is key to me shooting a good score.

Looking forward to some distance gains but keeping the ball on the short grass consistently should help lower my scores. Really like the look of the new GT lineup!

Being an amateur who doesn’t get to live on the golf course or have access to coach’s and lessons all of the time, my long distance clubs can benefit me the most by helping me stay in the fairway. Shot Dispersion is the biggest element I need in my distance clubs (driver, fairway woods, and distance irons).

After impact, when I look up, I expect to see the ball in a certain spot. If it is, it’s a happy meal and minor tweaks can be made from there. If it’s not, though, it’s right back to the drawing board.

Tight dispersion is key for me. I don't hit far, but I'm always helping the big bombers look for their ball after I hit my 2nd shot from the fairway.

Consistent flight with accuracy off of the tee is what is most important for me.

Beauty is great but it still has to perform and find the short grass
  10. The ability to adjust the loft 1.5 degrees + or - from manufacturer/default setting. Allows you to examine the dispersion that happens with your swing.

Like mine in the short grass. You know. Fairways and greens.

I felt that if you have consistent flight, you can work round the rest?

At my age, like the short grasses and greens. Had to be the tight dispersion.
  14. I love to feel and hear what I'm looking for. If it sounds, and feels good, I know it's going in the right place. I'm looking forward to getting fit for the new GT driver. I can't imagine it being better than the TSI. But I'm sure it is. I've lost about 30 to 40yrds on my shots after an emergency spinal cord surgery. So I'm always looking to get some of that back.

Tight Dispersion... got to keep them in the fairway

I went with carry distance. I can hit the ball pretty straight, so give me as many extra yards as possible.

It doesn't matter how far the ball goes if you can not keep it in play. Dispersion wins every time. Of course look and feel will always play a factor but to me its about the end result and is it in the short stuff or not.

I loved the sound and feel of the GT when I did my fitting. But right now dispersion is the most important thing for me. Club has the rough so thick you basically have to be standing over your ball to find. And when you do, a lot times it is the old "hack and hope"

Get me in the fairway and I'm golden...tight dispersion!
  20. Carry distance is most important for a 65+.
