    Hey Team Titleist -

    I hope you guys had a great weekend! With the Team Titleist Invitational at Pinehurst coming up, I was thinking about some of the amazing locations golf has taken me. From the beautiful views near Mt. Bachelor in Oregon to the Sandhills of North Carolina, there hasn't been a shortage of amazing backdrops.

    I'd like to know, where has golf taken you?

    I look forward to reading your answers!

    Great topic Abby!

    Pretty much from Coast to Coast from the Atlantic Ocean (Myrtle Beach) to the Pacific Ocean (Torrey Pines) and lots of cool and great places in between like Pinehurst and Whistling Straits.

    I've been fortunate to work at a few companies filled with golf nuts. Probably the highlight would be a trip to the Old Course....I still have a large bucket list, but if it ended today, I'd be very happy.....

    I've traveled to play in NY, NJ, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Florida, Texas, Missouri, California, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Louisiana, Alabama, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Hawaii. Within a week of each other I was playing in Maui looking at the Pacific...and then in Juno Beach, Florida looking at the Atlantic. The low country of South Carolina and the Sandhills of North Carolina (and a course in Augusta) are still the places I go back to again and again.

    Great topic, Abby for sure. I have been fortunate to be able to play in many places around the Country including Bandon Dunes, Pinehurst, courses throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Bend, OR and in the Coachella Valley where I live. But the best course I have been able to play, I was able to play this past Friday. That course is Whitetail located in McCall, ID. If anyone has a chance to get there, I strongly recommend you go. The course is certainly challenging in a beautiful setting and immaculately maintained. Great people as well.

    Over the space of a few months Wentworth in Spring to Woburn in Autumn. There a lot of 'Hidden Gems' in the UK but playing the likes of the West Course and The Brabazon at The Belfry are simply spectacular.

    Where has golf taken me....

    Wow, what a question. Golf has taken me on a path of many of the worlds most famous courses and run-down muni courses which I enjoy almost as much. (St. Andrews, Pinehurst, Bethpage) to name a few. It has also lead me down a path of people. From my childhood days working at Portsmouth CC through playing high school and collegiate golf I have met people who have molded me into who I am today.

    Portsmouth CC baby!!!! The best in the Northeast....

    Yeah golf has brought me to some special places especially this year; Bethpage, Chambers Bay and in a few weeks Pinehurst. I've also played once in Hawaii, Ka'anapali and that was fun. A few years ago played Streamsong and Lake Nona in FL. Slowly working on my bucket list...

    But the best part of golf is meeting people from all over the country.. It's amazing how many friends I've made the last few years just playing a fun, casual round of golf...

    I've been very lucky with my golf travels. I have played in a number of fantastic locations in the US. I have played tournaments in Taiwan, Japan and Scotland. I have also been lucky enough to enjoy a few rounds in Australia. I have met and played with a number of fantastic people along the way.

    Pretty much the same as Robert. From the east coast all the way to Hawai'i. Haven't played in Europe yet but that's on the bucket list.

    Favorites along the way:
    - Kapalua Plantation
    - Pinehurst
    - Caldonia / True Blue (Myrtle)
    - Whiskey Creek (Maryland)

    Pretty great list there. I'm with you on the Europe Bucket List.

    Whiskey Creek is one of my local favorites and one of the best in the entire DC/Baltimore region in my opinion.

    My travels aren't nearly as extensive as some others: Hawaii, Texas, Florida, California (home state). I played six courses that host or have hosted PGA tournaments and two that hosted LPGA tournaments:
    - Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill & Poppy Hills (I used to live 1.5 hours away);
    - Torrey Pines (North and South Courses);
    - Disney World (Palms);
    - Twelve Bridges and Lincoln Hills (LPGA).
    The people made those experiences as much as the courses and scenery. Thanks to all I have met during these trips.

    I've been really lucky that I get to travel for work and had family in Pinehurst.

    Favorite courses:
    Torrey Pines (South)
    Turtle Bay (Palmer)
    Pinehurst No 2&9
    Orange County National (Crooked Cat)
    Stonewall
    Musket Ridge

    My favorites have been all over, but the best for me has been Scotland -- Old Course, Kingsbarns, Carnoustie, Royal Troon, Turnberry, Muirfield, Prestwick.

    My favorite in Hawai'i is King Kamekameha on Maui. On the East it is Congressional.

    Old Works in Anaconda, MT has a special place because I broke 90 for the first time.

    I'm jealous of all you guys. You've all played some great places and tracks. Best I can boast about are Barefoot (Dye and Love courses) in Myrtle Beach, Southern Dunes (among many others) in the Orlando area, Vistoso in Tuscon, AZ, Mahogany Run on ST. Thomas USVI and a bunch of places in Vegas.

    Otherwise, my previous home course in Connecticut, Oxford Greens, and a few miles away, Great River are both in the top 5 in the state. And, my new home course in Maryland, Worthington Manor (US Open Qualifier almost every year), which is 3 miles from another top course in MD, Whiskey Creek as mentioned above. I guess now that I'm thinking about it, I have played some nice tracks. However, Pinehurst, Pebble, Bandon Dunes, Streamsong, the Old Course and so many of the world's top 100 are still on my bucket list. Life is too short.

    Wow...Love seeing all the Maryland courses listed. Worthington Manor is one of my top 5 favorites in the state along with Musket Ridge and Whiskey Creek already mentioned.

    We need to start a MD/DC thread or something and all get together for a round this fall.

    I'm game. In the meantime, drop me an IM if you want to meet over at Worthington someday for a casual round. I play there usually 3 or more days a week, often as a single. Been a member there for a year, but don't have a regular everyday 4-some. My schedule is fairly flexible.

    Golf has been awesome to me. Played all over in junior and college golf. Plus with the TT and FJA groups have played some really great tracks as well.
    Medinah was pretty special since I made my first hole in one on the tour course. Austin Country Club was special because it was the home of Harvey Penick.

    Have been blessed to play some nice courses and meet so very many great people.

    I'm really jealous of all the awesome courses everyone has gotten to played. So far I've gotten to play courses in Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, and Texas. Going to be playing in Nashville in a couple weeks though as part of my bachelor party and really excited for that.

    So many places all of you have been- and all of those are awesome places! I've pretty much stayed local in SoCal for the most part and a few good courses over in Las Vegas Nevada. I've come back many times to play in the Hawaiian Islands. Bali Indonesia is probably the furthest I've been out and Thailand as well. Wish I was going to Pinehurst with all you guys.
