Many thanks to Team Titleist for treating a lucky few of us to the 'ultimate golf ball fitting experience' yesterday. We were fortunate enough to be randomly selected to spend a day with several Team Titleist staff and Simon Holmes. We got to try out the 6 different types of Titleist golf balls, were given on overview of each one and a years supply of golf balls should shortly be on the way to each of us. We then had an entertaining short game clinic with Simon Holmes before all heading to the BMW PGA and championship pavilion where the insight and stories from the tour continued. It was clear from the day that the Pro V1 and V1x with their potential for increased spin and control offer the greatest variety of sort game shots, something which golfers all all levels may wish to have in their armour. Thanks again to Team Titleist for all the work that went into making the day a great experience for us. For those not yet registered as Team Titleist members - I can recommend you do so.
