I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to play many of the courses on my fellow TT members bucket lists but five that I would like to play are

    Castle Stuart
    Cruden Bay
    Royal Birkdale
    Seascale
    Old Head

All for different reasons and in no particular offer

  8. Hi Will. I'm thinking the list could go on and on, but I've boiled it down to five courses. What does your own list look like? All the best, /Morten

    Wentworth
    Loch Lomond
    Woburn
    Sunningdale
    Ballybunion
  9. Hard to narrow it down to 5 but here goes.

    1. St Andrews Old course
    2. Sunningdale Old course
    3. Royal Portrush
    4. Woodhall Spa - The Hotchkin
    5. Ballybunion
  10. SMunro

    SMunro
    Didcot

Been fortunate enough to play a few of the above.
St Andrews Old (for the history)
Turnberry (politics/access only reason not top on open rota as stunning course).
Royal Birkdale (Very fair test of golf with no kicks off into rough)
Sunningdale Old (Absolute gem and was a tough challenge off the tips)
Loch Lomond (shame no longer Scottish Open base as stunning!)

    Hi Will,

Courses in England I'd love to play in no particular order are

Wentworth, Sunningdale, Royal Birkdale, Walton Heath and Woburn.

    PS

Plenty of nice courses in Wales if TT fancy a venture into God's Country?

    Regards
    David
  12. I’ve been lucky enough to play a lot of the great courses, so these are the ‘missing links’ (pun intended) in my list.

    Turnberry
    Troon
    Formby
    Carnoustie
    St Enedoc

Would add Ballybunion and Lahinch if we added Ireland in.

Royal County Down is hard to beat. Birkdale and Portrush give it a good run for its money.

I'll let TT pick my 5 courses as I haven't played any in England or Ireland

OK, I'm going to go for 5 I've not yet played...

    The Berkshire - Blue Course
    Swinley Forrest
    St George's Hill
    Royal Birkdale
    Rye

Managed to play the Berkshire Red last week and loved it.

    Here's my picks but there are some great options from the other folks, just too many to list! Based on being a quality venue that can host a large group for a day. In no order of preference;

    1. Woodhall Spa - The Hotchkin - just a great course to play
    2. Woburn - Marquess - great fun to play and overall a class venue
    3. Wentworth West - again for the Pro experience and difficulty
    4. Burnham and Berrow - fantastic quirky links
    5. Royal Birkdale - just an amazing course

Been a long time since I went to Ireland but The European was excellent, Adare Manor looks out of this world and Royals Count Down and Portrush look awesome

I missed out on the last two events as I didn't get the email before the events were sold out. Can the communication of these events be improved please? Really keen to come to the next one.
